Are trials mandatory? 

Trials are not mandatory but are suggested. Trials are a great time for us to get to know you and find out exactly what you are looking for.

Do you offer consultations? 

Yes! Locks and Lips offers complementary consultations via video chat.

What areas do you service? 

We go everywhere! There is no travel fee within the Durham region.

Do you have a travel fee? 

If your location is over 30km of Durham region there is a $.55 per km round trip. 

If your location is in Collingwood or Wasaga beach there are discounted rates. Please enquire.

Do you have a minimum service fee? 

Yes. During peak times on Saturdays we have a minimum service fee of 4 wedding party members (including the bride).

How should my hair be prepped for hair services? 

Please arrive with clean, dry hair.

How should my face be prepped for makeup services? 

Please arrive with clean, makeup free skin. 

​

Is there a fee for adding my own hair extensions? 

Yes, there is a $20 fee for hair extension install and styling.

Do I have to book Locks & Lips for both hair & makeup or can I book separate services? 

You can book just hair styling or just makeup services, but we work very well together and hiring one company will ensure that everything will move smoothly and as planned on your big day.

How far in advance should I book? 

Most brides book about 1 year out from their wedding date. It is recommended that you book as soon as possible as popular wedding dates book up quickly.

Do you apply false lashes? 

Yes! False lashes are included in the price of your makeup services.
